Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS), Assam has released the official notification for the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) 2026 for admission to D.Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy) and B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy) courses. The notification was published on 10th March 2026. The entrance exam will be held on 7th June 2026 (Sunday) from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official SSUHS website from 20th March 2026 to 30th April 2026. About SSUHS Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences is the apex health sciences university of Assam, responsible for regulating and conducting entrance examinations for medical, nursing, pharmacy, and allied health science courses across Government and Private institutions in the state. Exam Overview Exam Name: SSUHS Common Entrance Examination (CEE) 2026 Courses: D.Pharm and B.Pharm Academic Session: 2026–27 University: Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences Exam Date: 7 June 2026 (Sunday) Exam Time: 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon Total Marks: 100 Marks Total Questions: 100 MCQs (Objective Type) Question Standard: HS (10+2) Science level Exam Centres The exam will be held at the following centres: Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Silchar, Jorhat, Barpeta, Tezpur, Diphu, Lakhimpur, Nagaon, Kokrajhar, Nalbari, Dhubri, Shillong, Aizawl, Itanagar, Agartala, Imphal, Dimapur, and Gangtok. Centres outside Assam are subject to confirmation based on the number of applicants and consent from respective State authorities. Exam Pattern The question paper consists of 100 MCQs carrying 1 mark each. Questions 1–75 cover English, Physics, and Chemistry — mandatory for all Pharmacy candidates. Questions 76–100 have two parts: Biology and Mathematics. Candidates must answer only the part (Biology OR Mathematics) they selected at the time of application. The subject choice cannot be changed after submission. Subjects: English – 25 Marks Physics – 25 Marks Chemistry – 25 Marks Biology OR Mathematics – 25 Marks Total: 100 Marks Tie-Breaking Rule In case of equal marks, inter-se-merit will be decided by: (1) Marks in Biology/Mathematics (opted), (2) Chemistry, (3) Physics, (4) English. If still tied, HS subject marks will be considered at counselling. Qualifying Marks Minimum qualifying marks will be notified at the time of result declaration. Eligibility Criteria Nationality: Indian citizen Residency: PRC (Permanent Resident Certificate) mandatory for Govt. institute admission Education: 10+2 Science with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics from a recognized Board/Council/University without grace marks. Both Theory and Practical must be passed individually. NIOS/Open school students are NOT eligible for B.Pharm Age: Minimum 17 years as on 31 December 2026 Medical: Must be medically fit Reservation Policy Seats in Govt. institutions are reserved for SC, ST(P), ST(H), OBC(NCL), TGL, Ex-TGL, EWS, PwD (Divyang), and NEC categories as per Government norms. Original certificates must be produced at counselling. PwD candidates need certificate from State Level or District Level Medical Board. Application Fee Non-refundable fee payable online through SSUHS website payment gateway. PwD (Divyang) candidates with 40% or more disability are exempted from the fee. No documents are required to be sent to the University. All document verification will be done at the time of counselling.
