🎓 Educational Qualification
Candidates must have Matriculation / SSLC (10th Pass) PLUS one of the following:
Option A — ITI: 10th Pass + ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in any of these trades: Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Millwright/Maintenance Mechanic, Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Wireman, Mechanic (Diesel), Heat Engine, Turner, Machinist, Refrigeration & AC Mechanic, Mechanic (Radio & TV), Tractor Mechanic, Armature & Coil Winder
Option B — Diploma: 10th Pass + 3-year Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile Engineering from a recognised institution
Option C — Degree: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile Engineering (acceptable in lieu of Diploma)
Option D — Act Apprenticeship: 10th Pass + Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in trades mentioned in Option A

Stage 1 → CBT-1 (Screening)
- 75 Questions | 75 Marks | 60 Minutes
- Subjects: Mathematics, Mental Ability, General Science (10th level)
- Negative Marking: 1/3 per wrong answer
- Minimum Qualifying: UR/EWS 40% · OBC 30% · SC 30% · ST 25%
- Marks of CBT-1 NOT counted in final merit
Stage 2 → CBT-2 (Main)
- Part A: Mathematics & Basic Science/Engineering — 100 questions, 90 min
- Part B: Trade-specific (ITI/Diploma level) — 75 questions, 60 min
- Negative Marking: 1/3 per wrong answer
Stage 3 → CBAT (Computer Based Aptitude Test)
Stage 4 → Document Verification (DV)
Stage 5 → Medical Examination (ME)
